Round Bottle Labeling Machine – Troubleshooting Guide

I. Inaccurate Labeling Position

1. The tape holder may not be pressing tightly, causing the label tape to loosen and the sensor to detect inaccurately. Press the label tape firmly to resolve.

2. The driving mechanism may be slipping or not clamped tightly, preventing the backing paper from being pulled smoothly. Adjust the driving mechanism to an appropriate tightness. Over-tightening can skew labels; it should be just tight enough to pull the backing paper properly (if the backing paper appears wrinkled when pulled out, it is usually too tight).

3. Inconsistent shape or positioning of the objects being labeled. Improve product quality control.

4. Objects should be placed parallel to the label dispensing direction (check if the product shifts during labeling; you can appropriately raise the left support rod).

5. Ensure objects rotate smoothly at the labeling station (avoid contact with the peeling plate). If the object is too light, lower the labeling presser rod to secure it.

6. Only one label dispenses in double-label mode:
(1) If the object continues rotating after one label is dispensed, it is usually because the delay for the second label is not set, and the machine is waiting for the second labeling signal.
(2) If the object stops after one label is dispensed, it may be due to signal interference with the label detection sensor (re-set the sensor) or abnormal delay control (press "Jog 2" twice, then press "Jog 1" twice).

II. Label Tape Deviation

1. The tape holder is too tight, causing the label tape to deviate. Reduce the holding pressure appropriately.

2. Label tape alignment was not performed before automatic operation. Re-perform the alignment.

III. Poor Labeling Quality – Bubbles or Wrinkles

1. Incomplete label application. Try reducing the labeling speed.

2. Possible use of transparent labels or labels that are too flexible.

3. Incorrect labeling pressure adjustment. Re-adjust the application pressure.

4. Wrinkles at the start of labeling may be due to overly flexible labels bending when extended. Raise the peeling plate to bring it closer to the product.

5. Misalignment at the head or tail of the label. Adjust the tilt of the support rod so the product is perpendicular to the label dispensing direction. Adjust the tilt of Support Rod 2 using screws 1 and 3 to correct head/tail application error.

6. The product shifts to one side during labeling. Slightly raise the left-side support base of the support rod.

IV. No Response from the Equipment

1. Check if the power cord is properly connected.

2. Check if the fuse next to the power socket is intact; replace if blown.

3. Possible loose wiring inside the electrical box. Recommended to have it inspected by a professional.

V. Frequent Breaking of Label Backing Paper

1. Tape holder too tight, causing label tape deviation. Reduce the holding pressure appropriately.

2. Poor quality label backing paper or overly deep cutting marks. Replace with qualified labels.

3. Label feeding speed too high. Reduce the speed appropriately.

4. Check if the label is scratched during movement.

VI. Continuous Label Dispensing / Uncontrolled Stopping

1. Usually caused by improper sensor setting. Re-set the sensor.

2. The sensor is not suitable for the labels being detected. Replace with a compatible sensor.

3. The sensor may be damaged and need replacement.

4. Multiple presses of the foot switch are required to complete one labeling cycle, usually due to signal interference with the label detection sensor. Re-set the sensor.

5. Ensure the label passes correctly through the sensor detection gap.
